Solvita Technology
Solvita is a novel, patented gel colorimetry technology to capture and measure respiration gases from composts and soils. The Solvita® colour reaction obeys Beer-Lambert’s optic law over a wide range of concentration of emitted gases CO2 and NH3, and is more accurate than the naked eye can discern. With the new DCR (digital colour reader) the colour changes may be read accurately to ± 0.05 Solvita® colour units and the quantity of CO2 and NH3 may be closely estimated.
